Virtual Styling

The PICTOFiT Virtual Styling component can be used to promote and browse a featured collection, capsule or wardrobe in an interactive way. This can be integrated into an e-commerce site, but can also be used as a standalone application, that is reachable via a simple web link. This link could also be embedded as a QR code in printed media.

The experience start on a screen with slideshow of pre-defined outfits called the Outfit Preview Screen.

By Clicking Create Your Look a shopper will be taken to a screen called the Styling View, in which they can interactively mix & match different garments onto different avatars, in different scenes. It always starts with the outfit that was active in the outfit preview screen when the Create Your Look button was clicked.

A collection contains a set of

• Outfits
  The ones shown in Outfit preview screen. A outfit consists of an avatar, a background scene, garments that the avatar wears and optionally accessories that should be shown next to the avatar in slots. All the garments, accessories, avatars and scenes of the defined outfits are available in the outfit details screen and can be changed by the shopper.

• (optional) additional Garments
  A selection of garments that should be available for interactive mix&match in the outfit detail screen.

• (optional) additional Accessories
  A selection of garments that should be available for interactive mix&match in the outfit detail screen.

• (optional) additional Avatars
  A selection of avatars that should be available for the shopper in the outfit detail screen.

• (optional) additional Scenes
  A selection of scenes that should be available for the shopper in the outfit detail screen.

Collection generation

The Virtual Styling Component requires a pre-generated collection. This collection is curated and can be based on any amount of avatars, garments, accessories and scenes. At the moment a collections needs to be created by Reactive Realties Content Team but very soon there will a GUI available for it. Furthermore, it will be possible to programmatically create collections. This will enable a store owner to use recommendation systems to create and populate the Virtual Styling Component.

Technical Integration

There are different levels of integration of the PICTOFiT Virtual Styling component.

• Standalone The PICTOFiT Virtual Styling component can be used fully standalone, by simply generating a link to open a specific collection with predefined product data.

• Embedded - Data Properties Simple embedded integration that allows to load the PICTOFiT Virtual Styling component inside the web store with predefined product data.

• Embedded - Programmatically Embedded integration that allows to load the PICTOFiT Virtual Styling component inside the web store and inject product data like current price, name etc into the component or consume events like add to cart.
